Watch: Rep. Brian Sims Goes Viral For Epic 'Little Mermaid' Lip Sync

"RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 2" just started but Rep. Brain Sims, D-Philadelphia, is giving the queens a run for their money.

The out lawmaker took to Facebook Thursday to post a video of himself lip synching (for his life?) to the classic "Part of Your World" from Disney's "The Little Mermaid."

"I hope you're having as fun of an afternoon as I am! #GoinCampin...with Ariel!," Sims wrote.

It's been less than 24-hours since the clip was posted but it's already wracked up more than 331,000 views as of this writing. It has nearly 3,500 shares, over 1,400 comments and 10,000 likes.

Of course, there have been some haters in the comments. One user quipped: "Cute but not sure our leaders need to be lip synching children's songs on social media. Do we want to see Obama singing 'matchmaker'? Or have the world see Hillary singing a Rihanna song?"

But Sims had a great clap back to the disgruntled Facebook user.

"It's not a 'little girl's' song. Songs don't have a gender. It's a song," he responded. "I was 11 when it came out. I like it even more at 37. Really, I appreciate the kind words and anyone who'd struggle to 'respect' me because of this would have ample other reasons not to respect that are a lot more important to me."
