Anthony Weiner Deletes Twitter After Being Accused of Sexting Again
READ TIME: 2 MIN.
The New York Post published a report Sunday, accusing disgraced New York City politician Anthony of Weiner of sexting... again.
The newspaper claims Weiner, who lost his political career after two sexting scandals, is still sending revealing photos to women on public platforms. This time the former congressman "has been sexting with a busty brunette... and even sent her a lurid crotch shot with his toddler son in the picture," the Post writes.
In the report, the Post posted the photo, which allegedly shows Weiner in his underwear (with a bulge of course) with a baby next to him - the child's face is blurred out, however. The newspaper claims a screen shot of the conversation shows that Weiner sent the pic while "discussing massage parlors 'near my old apartment' shortly after 3 a.m. on July 31, 2015."
"Someone just climbed into my bed," Wiener allegedly wrote to the mystery woman, who tipped off the Post on the condition of anonymity.
"Really?" she replied.
The next message from Weiner is the photo.
"You realize you can see you[r] Wiener in that pic??" the woman wrote.
Weiner then freaked out, allegedly writing, "I was scared. For a half second I thought I posted something. Stop looking at my crotch."
The politician was referring to his 2011 scandal where he accidentally tweeted a photo of his erect penis. He later resigned from Congress because of the incident.
The Post also has several explicit text conversations between the two, which go from January 2015 to earlier this month. The newspaper notes Weiner frequently initiated the sex talk. The Post also reached out to Weiner for a comment, who said he and the woman "have been friends for some time."
"She has asked me not to comment except to say that our conversations were private, often included pictures of her nieces and nephews and my son and were always appropriate," he told the newspaper.
The Post referred to the woman as a Trump supporter who "used Twitter to bash both President Obama and Clinton."
Since the report went live Sunday, Weiner has deactivated his Twitter account.
Meanwhile, Weiner's wife Huma Abedin is currently campaign for Hillary Clinton and will likely hold a high position should Clinton be elected president, Politico notes. Abedin has yet to respond to the Post's article.
