Watch: Gay Couple Explain Their Trump Support

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

The Wall Street Journal's Jason Bellini took to Facebook Thursday, posting a video of him interviewing a gay couple at a Donald Trump rally in Cincinnati, Ohio.

After confirming to Bellini they are a couple, the men said they feel comfortable and that they can be affectionate at a Trump rally.

"Ain't nobody say nothing about it," one of the men said.

"No one stopped us or said anything; it's pretty good," the other man said.

Bellini asked the couple if there are a lot of gay people backing the GOP presidential nominee.

"Actually, yeah there is. I've got a lot of gay friends that support Trump," one of the men said.

"Same here," the other man added.

Bellini then asks the couple why they want Trump to be elected president.

"Uh, I don't know baby, why?" one of the men asks his partner.

"Tired of the bullshit government. I work in the steel industry I see it hardcore at the trades and stuff," the other man added. "Time for a change. Trump's the man for it."

"Plus I really feel like he would bring more jobs to the country," one of the men said. "Everything would be a hell of a lot better."

In his convention speech, Trump addressed the LGBTQ community, noting the Pulse gay club massacre in Orlando, Fla.

"Only weeks ago, in Orlando, Fla., 49 wonderful Americans were savagely murdered by an Islamic terrorist," Trump said in July. "This time, the terrorist targeted our LGBTQ community. As your president, I will do everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology.

"As a Republican, I'm so happy to hear you cheering for what I just said," he added.

As of this writing, Bellini's post has nearly 250 shares and hundreds of comments. Check out the clip below.
