PopUps: Carrie Fisher's Daughter Billie Lourd to Star on 'American Horror Story'

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

As previously reported, Ryan Murphy's new Instagram account is the gift that keeps on giving. With many projects currently in production, the showrunner offers sneak peaks into his series, most recently the upcoming seventh season of "American Horror Story."

Murphy shared a photo of actress Billie Lourd, Carrie Fisher's daughter, Wednesday with the following caption: "Winter is coming. Can't wait for everybody to see what the incredible Billie Lourd does this season on AHS."

This isn't the first time Lourd has been part of the Murphyverse. She starred in the recently canceled Fox comedy-horror series "Scream Queens" as Chanel #3. Lourd, 24, joins "AHS" vets Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson. Newcomers announced for Season 7 include out comedian Billy Eichner and actress Leslie Grossman, who starred on Murphy's 1999 drama "Popular."

Not much is known about the upcoming season of the FX's anthology series. Murphy did revealed earlier this year, however, that the series is inspired by the 2016 presidential election. Murphy has shared a few other photos related to the season, which can be seen below along with Lourd's pic.
