After the death of one of his closest friends and fighting allies, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) the Black Canary, Oliver is determined to make good on his promise to save his city. He begins by assuming the role of Star City's mayor working from within to rescue the inner workings from the corruption that had taken a choke hold of the city's most vulnerable. With Black Canary's sacrifice and his former allies taking a break from their heroics, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) takes matters in hand!

With the help of Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum) the newly minted Mister Terrific, the pair seek our some new recruits in a strategic attempt to reignite Team Arrow, but the Green Arrow's legacy may be tarnished as the truth begins to circulate about the Arrow's early days as a vengeful vigilante. A new enemy is hunting Oliver and his friends, and is preparing to exact his own revenge from within, even as a new Canary emerges and Wild Dog rallies to make the team.

The Fifth Season of "Arrow" proves that Oliver Queen still has some surprises left in his quiver.
