Caitlyn Jenner Shuts Down Engagement Rumors

Caitlyn Jenner is addressing engagement rumors that claim she's planning a wedding to her rumored girlfriend, Sophia Hutchins, a 21-year-old college student.

In a statement to Pink News, a rep for the 68-year-old "I Am Cait" star denied that Jenner is tying the knot anytime soon, simply saying, "No engagement." Additionally, Gossip Cop, a website dedicated to sorting out celebrity rumors, also reported the engagement is false.

News of the engagement reportedly came from Heat magazine, which Gossip Cop says quoted a source that told the publication, "Cait really sees herself spending the rest of her life with Sophia."

"She lost her support system when she fell out with her family and these days, it feels like Sophia's the only person she can count on," the source reportedly added.

Though Hutchins, who is also trans, has appeared in Jenner's Instagram feed - and vice versa - Jenner told Us Weekly in November the two are not dating and are just friends. A rep for Jenner also told Gossip Cop the same thing, adding the women are "friends and business associates."

Jenner made headlines last week after it was reported she'd be delivering an annual diversity lecture at the House of Commons to raise awareness and stimulate debate on diversity.
