A Florida therapist claiming to "help" clients with unwanted sexual attraction goes by "Dr. Norman Goldwasser" in his practice, but in less formal contexts – specifically, at gay hookup app Manhunt, according to Truth Wins Out – he's known by a different moniker: "Hotnhairy72."

Dr. "Hotnhairy" also has a profile at Bear Nation, TWO reports.

TWO posted a screenshot purportedly taken from a Manhunt profile in which "Hotnhairy72" offers intimate anatomical details and describes himself as "very oral," "mostly a top," and "into hairy guys only!"

TWO, a watchdog and advocacy organization founded and run by "conversion therapy" critic , detailed an "operation" in which, the posted account said, "Goldwasser, going by the pseudonym 'Dave', offered to meet for sex with our operative, 'Brandon,' at a Fort Lauderdale motel room."

TWO advised in the report that it "does not engage in the outing of people participating in ex-gay programs unless there is overwhelming hypocrisy, exchange of commerce, and the threat of harm to LGBT youth." However, the article said, "The Goldwasser outing passes all three tests."

"Norman Goldwasser's double life of unconscionable lies highlights the rank hypocrisy and predatory nature of the fraudulent 'ex-gay' industry," Besen stated, going on to call for a nationwide ban on "the scourge of conversion therapy that attacks the mental health of LGBT youth and puts them in harm's way."

An entry for Norman Goldwasser at the Psychology Today therapists' listings claims that Goldwasser specializes in working with clients suffering from "personality disorders, especially narcissism," as well as "unwanted bisexuality."

Goldwasser's website also references "narcissism," as well as other code words that pathologize gay people, such as "sexual issues" and "trauma."

"He helps patients to understand and process the ways in which painful or frightening events continue to impact present functioning," text at Goldwasser's site reads.

TWO offered a brief synopsis of Dr. Goldwasser's anti-LGBTQ activities, including co-authorship of a paper in which being gay is compared to genuine mental health issues such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

The Advocate reported on more of Goldwasser's work, noting that he has written: "papers on the merits of conversion therapy and has sent clients to an outdoor program that seeks to turn gay men into heterosexuals through 'manly' activity."
