ABBA to Release 5 New Songs in 2021, Embark on Hologram Tour

Mamma Mia, here we go again!
Deadline is reporting that ABBA will finally release new music next year.
The Swedish band won't release just one song but five tracks ahead of their holographic tour to support the music. That was supposed to happen in 2020 but the pandemic has shifted plans for the group (Benny Andersson, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Agnetha Fltskog and Bjorn Ulvaeus).
The new music, which includes songs called "I Still Have Faith In You" and "Don't Shut Me Down," will be the first from ABBA in 35 years.
"The decision to go ahead with the exciting ABBA avatar tour project had an unexpected consequence. We all four felt that, after some 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go into the recording studio," the band said in a statement to Deadline.
ABBA also talked about what to expect from the tour, adding that the holograms fans see will be younger versions of themselves.
"They photographed us from all possible angles, they made us grimace in front of cameras, they painted dots on our faces, they measured our heads," said Bjorn Ulvaeus. "Apparently a cranium doesn't change with age the way the rest of your body falls apart."
The latest news comes after a producer for the "Mamma Mia" movies hinted that a third musical, which features new songs from ABBA might be in the works.
