Italian Hunk Michele Morrone Teases New Single 'Player'

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Michele Morrone may best known for his ongoing role in Netflix's "365 Days" franchise. In the first film, released in 2020, he played Massimo Torricelli, a Mafia don who kidnaps a Warsaw woman he had seen on a beach five years before and intends on keeping her prisoner for 365 days until she falls in love with him.

Morrone is also a self-taught musician. (He taught himself guitar at 25.) "365 Days" included a number of his original songs, which he packaged together in his first album "Dark Room." In the past year, he's released a number of singles ("Beautiful," "Another Day"); add to it his latest: "Player," which was released today in an audio format, with a video to be released shortly.

"Once again," a press release reads, "the track showcases his skyscraping and soaring vocal fireworks over organic production. He reflects on the search for true love with another emotionally charged and engaging performance. It speaks to his uncanny ability to inhabit a song and bring it to life in vivid and vibrant color."

"Another Day" has gathered over 5 million Spotify streams and counting as well as 8.3 million YouTube views on the music video.

The sexy, Italian star had all but given up acting and was working as a gardener when he was hired for "365 Days." In addition to music and acting, Morrone is also a painter and sculptor.

He made headlines last summer when he posted a steamy thirst trap of himself andactor/model Simone Susinna shot during the filming of the second film in the franchise. In the tweet, he wrote: ?Is this a #pride month miracle. Is #michelemorrone ....?

But the day after the posting, Morrone dispelled any gay rumors. "This morning, I woke up with my team calling me and saying, 'Hey, there's a lot of articles...saying that you came out,' because of the picture I took withSimone," Morrone wrote. "He became a very good friend of mine, we're like brothers. We're shooting a movie together. Guys, it was just a picture. Nothing more."

Nonetheless, he remains a fan of the thirst-trap:
