Playthings Present LaChiusa's 'Hello Again'

LGBT Repertory Theatre Company Playthings proudly announces its third annual gala, a one-night-only concert presentation of Michael John LaChiusa's acclaimed musical "Hello Again," which will be performed on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at The York Theatre (619 Lexington Ave, at 54th Street).

"Hello Again" is directed by Playthings Artistic Director Jason Brubaker, has musical direction by Mark Hartman ("Avenue Q") and choreography by Michael O'Steen ("Meet Me in St. Louis"). The cast features Kerry Conte (National Tour "Mary Poppins"), Randy Harrison ("Queer as Folk," "Wicked", "Atomic"), Michael Lorz (Northern Stages' "Into the Woods"), Nicolas Rodriguez ("Tarzan"), Chad Sapp ("Estado Ingravitto"), and Zakiya Young ("Stick Fly").

Playthings is an LGBT Repertory Theatre Company which seeks to bring classical and contemporary plays and musicals to the New York stage. Founded in 2012 Playthings co-produced "HOMO! The Musical" by Lolla Rock 'N' Rolla and Gina Volpe for NYMF 2013; as well as concerts of "Dream True" by Ricky Ian Gordon and Tina Landau; You'll Never Be Alone by Lunge Dance Collective, choreographed by Billy Bell; and readings of "Asylum" by Cheril Clarke, "Most Fabulous Story Ever Told" and "Valhalla" by Paul Rudnick and "The Pride" by Alexi Kaye Campbell.

Playthings concert of "Hello Again" performs Monday, January 12th at 7:00 P.M. at The York Theatre, located at 619 Lexington Ave (at 54th Street), NYC. Tickets are $50.00.
