Is 'The Interview' Coming to a Theater Near You?

Here's the list of theaters, according to the website Deadline.com, that are confirmed to be showing Sony's "The Interview" on Christmas Day.

Theaters have a deadline of this afternoon to decide if they choose to run the movie on Christmas Day.

According to Deadline, this is because of "a logistics issue: Sony must send theaters the movie hard drives in time to make Christmas Day screenings."

Whether or not the film will be showing in LA and NYC is yet to be confirmed, though Deadline says that the Alamo chain will screen the film at its Yonkers theater and Laemmle Theatre (in North Hollywood) confirmed it will start showing the film on January 31.

Other chains are still debating whether or not to pick the film up, but security and scheduling issues will likely keep the film out of more theaters until next week or later.
