Sia Apologizes for 'Pedophilia' in Video Starring Shia LaBeouf

Singer and pop songwriter Sia broke the Internet Wednesday after she released the music video for her single "Elastic Heart," which stars Maddie Ziegier (the young dancer who appeared in the fabulous video for "Chandelier") and a dirty but still hunky Shia LaBeouf. But the 39-year-old singer is apologizing Thursday after some claimed the clip had "pedophilia" vibes.
"I anticipated some 'pedophilia!!!' Cries for this video. All I can say is Maddie and Shia are two of the only actors I felt could play," Sia, who is openly bi, tweeted. "These two warring 'sia' self states... I apologize to those who feel triggered by #ElasticHeart My intention was to create some emotional content, not to upset anybody."
The artsy and dramatic video shows LaBeouf and Ziegier in a psychological dance-off inside a giant bird cage. The duo is wearing nude colored underwear, which may have fueled viewers' suspicions that there is a pedophilia undertone to the "Elastic Heart" video, which currently has nearly 4,300,000 views in about 24 hours.
