It's a headline I've wanted to write for a few new years now.
Producer and show runner Ryan Murphy took to Twitter Tuesday to announce that Chloe Sevigny will be a series regular on the upcoming fifth season of "American Horror Story," subtitled "Hotel."
This will be the second time Sevigny appears on the FX anthology series. The 40-year-old actress had a role on the second season of "AHS," "Asylum," playing Shelly, the diagnosed nymphomaniac who ends up an amputee after laughing at her attempted rapist's penis.
Sevigny joins Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson and Wes Bentley, who have all been confirmed for the cast of "Hotel."
"AHS" star Jessica Lange revealed earlier this month that, for the first, she would not be on the show's fifth season. Lange had been with the popular series since Season One, "American Horror Story: Murder House."
In related news, "AHS" alumni Connie Britton will appear on Murphy's upcoming miniseries "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson" as Fay Resnick.
