Watch: 'Love is Blind' Star Carlton Morton Wants to Return to Netflix Show, Highlight Bisexual Storyline

"Love is Blind" star Carlton Morton told TMZ this week that he wants to return to the popular Netflix dating show in order to highlight bisexuality after being part of one of the most explosive moments on the series.

Morton explained that he wants to bring his storyline back for Season 2 of "Love is Blind," which was also renewed for a third season. In Season 1, Morton was engaged to Diamond Jack but while on their vacation, Morton revealed that he is bisexual, sparking an intense argument that leads to their split.

TMZ also recently reported in a separate article that "Love is Blind" is already looking to cast its second season. The website reports that the casting company is allegedly asking potential contestants about their sexuality. When speaking to Morton, TMZ asked if he thinks they're asking about how people identify in order to find queer contestants or to avoid them. He said he doesn't think the production company would avoid casting people who are not heterosexual.

"They're open of starting the conversation of what LGBT love looks like for us," Morton said of the reality show's production company. "I think the idea by including me set up the platform and kind of paved the way for many other people like myself to find love."

He was then asked if he'd join "Love is Blind" Season 2.

"Absolutely! I'm looking for love right now. So if someone started a season today – let's go to the pods!" Morton said of the reality show's set up, which begins with people dating without seeing each other in separate "pods."

"Love is Blind" debuted on Feb. 13 on Netflix and went on to become a cultural hit. The reality show features a number of single people who first go on literal blind dates (they cannot see each other but only talk to one another in divided rooms) before getting engaged. After their engagement, the couples are sent on vacation, then move in with each other in the real world before tying the knot.
