Peacock, the upcoming streaming service from NBCUniversal, shared the first trailer for its "Saved by the Bell" reboot with People magazine this week.

The clip features actors Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley reprising their classic characters A.C. Slater and Jessie Spano, respectively, with A.C. now Bayside High School's gym teacher.

The new teaser also debuts Mac Morris (Mitchell Hoog), the good-looking son of California Gov. Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar, reprising his role as Bayside hunk and bad boy). It also features Jamie Spano (Belmont Cameli), Bayside football captain and Jessie's sensitive son.

The new version of "Saved By the Bell" Gov. Morris finds himself in a tough spot when he decides to shut down a number of low-income high schools in California, sending students to higher-performing schools like Bayside. The influx of new and diverse students will give the privileged teens of Bayside a reality check.

Among the new cast includes Josie Totah, a trans actor who will play Lexi, a beautiful and sharp-tongued cheerleader.

Peacock will launch in full on July 15. Watch the "Saved by the Bell" teaser below.
