READ TIME: 2 MIN.

A new trailer for the upcoming biopic about Queen frontman Freddie Mercury "Bohemian Rhpasody" debuted online Tuesday. The new clip shows "Mr. Robot" star Rami Malek totally transformed as the iconic rock legend.

20th Century Fox, which is distributing "Bohemian Rhapsody," writes the film will follow the "the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound. They reach unparalleled success, but in an unexpected turn Freddie, surrounded by darker influences, shuns Queen in pursuit of his solo career. Having suffered greatly without the collaboration of Queen, Freddie manages to reunite with his bandmates just in time for Live Aid."

The two-minute-and-a-half-minute clip shows Mercury first joining Queen and the band in the studio producing their hit song "Bohemian Rhapsody." After arguing with bandmates, Malek's Mercury says, "Roger, there's only room in this band for one hysterical queen." The trailer also finds Mercury fielding questions from reporters about his private life: "What more do you need to know? I make music."

This is the second trailer for the film, which has already come under controversy. After production on the film was in limbo for years, "X-Men" director Bryan Singer began to helm the project. Nevertheless, he was replaced after reports surfaced that claimed he was not showing up to set and having issues with Malek. It was also reported Malek complained about Singer's alleged unprofessionalism on behalf of the cast and crew. He was eventually replaced with by filmmaker Dexter Fletcher ("Eddie the Eagle.")

After the first trailer for "Bohemian Rhapsody," which earned two million views in 24 hours, was released earlier this year, out TV producer Bryan Fuller ("Pushing Daisies," "Hannibal") //www.edgemedianetwork.com/entertainment/movies//259981/tv_producer_bryan_fuller_slams_bohemian_rhapsody_trailer_for_ignoring_freddie_mercurys_sexuality,_aidstook issue with it, accusing 20th Century Fox of "hetero-washing" Mercury's story in the clip and in the film's description. Initially, the studio wrote that the singer was "facing a life-threatening illness," never mentioning that Mercury had HIV/AIDS. The description for the latest "Bohemian Rhapsody" trailer does mention the Queen frontman had AIDS, however.
