Listen: Robyn's First Solo Single in 8 Years 'Missing U' is Here

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

It's official: Robyn is finally back.

It's been eight years since the Swedish pop star has released a solo single but she's finally returned with a glittering new dance song called "Missing U."

Robyn teased the track for the last week, calling it a "message to my fans." She released a 7-minute video before the song's release, showing her crashing a Robyn-themed dance party in New York City.

"Missing U" first premiered on Annie Mac's show on BBC Radio 1 Wednesday and it's now available on streaming services as well as YouTube.

Robyn's last solo album, "Body Talk," dropped in 2010. In the meantime, she teamed up with Royskopp for a mini album and in 2015 with the group La Bagatelle Magique. She also shared a song called "Honey" during an episode of the final season of HBO's comedy "Girls." That song, however, never got a proper release.

Earlier this year, Robyn promised her new album would be out sometime this year and during her Annie Mac interview, the singer again confirmed the album would be out before year's end.
