Watch: Carly Rae Jepsen Shares Beautifully Queer Vid for New Single 'Party of One'

After teasing new music this week, Carly Rae Jepsen followed through and shared her new single "Party for One" along with its music video, which is beautify queer.

In the clip, CRJ and fellow hotel guests party by themselves in their hotel rooms before the power goes out and come together to celebrate in the lobby. The clip also features a number of queer people.

"To me 'Party For One' is an anthem of what it is to celebrate time with yourself, which is a hard thing for people to really enjoy sometimes, and it's something I'm learning to do more and more," Jepsen said in a statement. "This song represents a lot of what this album is about for me which is romantic love but self-love too."

Pitchfork reports CRJ's new album will come out in 2019. It'll be her follow up to her 2015 effort "Emotion." In 2016 she released "Emotion: Side B" and in 2017 the single "Cut to the Feeling."
