NEW YORK - Following the successful unveiling in January 2011, The Elements Showcase-the premiere event for established and emerging visionaries in the field of fragrance design-returns August 15 and 16, 2011, and is expanding to two floors at Skylight West in New York City.

The concept, conceived by art fair producer Jeffrey Lawson and fragrance entrepreneurs Frederick Bouchardy (JOYA) and Ulrich Lang (Ulrich Lang New York), moves away from the traditional trade show model to present unique brands in an unprecedented, expertly curated showcase.

This strategy produced excellent results during Elements Showcase's debut that resonated with exhibitors, buyers and media. Mary Ellen Lapsansky of The Fragrance Foundation agreed: "The Elements team put together a fantastic fragrance showcase. It looked a million dollars and certainly provided the participants with a wonderful opportunity to connect, network, and grow their businesses."

The Elements Showcase this coming August features outstanding additions, including Caron, Juliette Has a Gun, Costume National, Portland General Store, Bois 1920, Carner Barcelona, Comptoir Sud Pacifique, Robert Piguet Parfums, and selected skincare brands, such as Rodial, Lift Lab, Vitaman and Alchimie Forever.

During its launch, the Elements Showcase presented exceptional offerings by elite fragrance designers. Establishing itself as an innovator in its field-from a conceptualized space designed by Reddymade Design to cutting-edge fragrance installations-the Elements Showcase united fragrance-industry leaders with classic and burgeoning buyers and key press.

Noteworthy buyers and press in attendance included Barneys New York, Saks Fifth Avenue, Anthropologie, Bliss, West Elm, Baxter Finley Barber & Shop, Woodward & Maple, Tomorrowland, C.O. Bigelow, Henri Bendel, Freemans Sporting Club, The Brooklyn Circus, Otte, Spartan, Oak, and Project No. 8. WWD, Vogue, GQ, Fragrantica, O Magazine, Beauty Press, W, ABC News, Brides Magazine, The Wall Street Journal,NY Press, and New York Magazine.

Many exhibitors launched new products and collections, including Lafco, Royal Apothic, Intertrade Europe, EM Distribution, MCMC Fragrances, and Anthousa. The showcase represented a diverse roster, including Bond No. 9, Etat Libre d'Orange, Woodley & Bunny, DS & Durga, DL & Co., Les Parfums Keiko Mecheri, Santa Maria Novella, and Duchess Marden.

The Elements Showcase is the definitive experience for emerging and established visionaries in the art of fragrance design.
