Jersey Shore Uncensored: Season Three

Beware, New Jersey: "The Jersey Shore" kids are back and sloppier than ever. "Jersey Shore Uncensored: Season Three" captures the mild highs and deep lows of the season. You get to relive Snooki's arrest, Ronnie and Sammy's various physical altercations, and the slow degradation of American television.

The DVD features all of the MTV episodes, including the reunion show and the After Hours specials. These are, of course, uncensored. This means you get more f-bombs than you can shake a wife-beater at. There is a behind-the-scenes featurette about the photo shoot. It is really just a bunch of glamour shots of the cast and some forgettable dialogue. It's a little sad when DVDs brand show promos as special "features."

The extended scenes aren't any of the high drama or interesting moments from the season. It's mostly some of the inside jokes, including Snooki talking to a plant and the boys getting pedicures.

An interesting feature is the "hook-ups" compilation that highlights some of the stranger hook-up moments with the cast, mostly Snooki and Deena making out and Snooki's date with a lesbian. There is also some bonus confessional footage. Sadly, the DVD doesn't focus on any of the interesting and outrageous moments of the show. Instead, it opts for more footage of the cast acting like knuckleheads.

Unlike earlier seasons, "Jersey Shore Uncensored: Season Three" offers a lackluster season and even more lackluster special features. Diehard fans may want to watch the show but the DVD might not be worth the investment.
