NEW YORK, NY - Earlier this summer, Elements Showcase announced its second fragrance design Showcase, taking place on August 15 and 16, 2011 at Skylight Studios West in Manhattan.

Elements has gathered an exceptional collection of fragrance visionaries; the second Showcase is poised to be even more impressive than the first. Elements prides itself on its extraordinary special projects and installations.

For this Showcase, Elements is collaborating with Six Scents Parfums for the installation, "Transition: Our avoidable passage from life to death."

Six Scents Parfums creates artisanal fragrances by translating the unfiltered creativity of artists into the language of scent. To date, nineteen collaborative fragrances have been produced in tandem with a roster of renowned fashion designers including Jeremy Scott, Phillip Lim, Gareth Pugh, and Damir Doma.

The Elements installation "Transition" is a sensory exploration into the cycle of life. For the installation Six Scents Series Three 'No.4 Ascent' by Rad Hourani and Christophe Raynaud is presented as an olfactive installation.

Visitors to "Transition" will be able to experience four stages of life: conception, infancy, midlife and death as represented by a series of scented mists emanating from a set of four stylized pedestals. Just as the notes and accords found in 'No.4 Ascent' come together to create the scent's essence, each lit pedestal will contribute in creating a lasting impression of Rad Houranis olfactory vision.

Presenting one of the world's largest curated offerings in the art of fragrance design, the second Showcase will be held from August 15 to 16, 2011. The Elements Showcase is an innovator; from its custom designed spaces to its cutting edge fragrance installations, the Showcase is the definitive experience for established and emerging visionaries in the field of fragrance.

The Elements Showcase will be held at Skylight West in Midtown Manhattan, with interiors designed and conceptualized by New York's foremost design firm, Reddymade Designs. The Elements Showcase strives to create a relationship between exhibitor and space that highlights the most innovative fragrance brands and entrepreneurs in the industry.
