NEW YORK, NY - For the first time ever, God's Love We Deliver and Whole Foods Market NYC are partnering together in support of the 43rd Annual Heritage of Pride March, marching under the tagline Feed Your Pride!

On Sunday, June 24th, hundreds supporters- staff and volunteers from God's Love We Deliver, along with dedicated and proud team members of Whole Foods Market NYC - will join forces to show our collective pride.

For more than twenty-five years, God's Love has participated in the March, conducted annually by NYC Pride. This year, attendance will be at record levels, with more than 600 supporters expected to join what will be the largest and proudest section in the parade. Many marchers will be volunteers.

Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do, as we cook and deliver more than 1 million meals each year to clients with life-altering illnesses. Today, God's Love operates only with the love, dedication and pride of nearly 8,000 volunteers each year to provide nourishment and love to their NYC neighbors who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves.

God's Love We Deliver and Whole Foods Market NYC forged their partnership this year, when Whole Foods Market NYC donated 5% of sales from all six NYC stores on January 5th for "5% Day." Whole Foods Market NYC volunteers have prepared food in the God's Love kitchen and delivered meals to the agency's clients, and Whole Foods Market NYC has a banner on the upper tier of the God's Love building at the corner of Spring Street and Sixth Avenue.

"Every year we proudly march down Fifth Avenue with our great supporters, as we look back on our work at the forefront of the AIDS pandemic. And together with our community of volunteers and friends like Whole Foods Market NYC, we proudly look forward to the next 25 years of serving nutritious meals to people living with all severe illnesses," says David Ludwigson, Chief Development Officer of God's Love We Deliver and yearly March participant.

Proud God's Love staff, volunteers and supporters will be joined by Whole Foods Market NYC team members and friends, and will wave to the crowd along Fifth Avenue, while proud marchers will carry the God's Love banner at the front of the section. The God's Love float, complete with the volunteered fine stylings of DJ Duron, who first DJed with God's Love at last year's historic March, will take up the final part of the section. Enthusiastic God's Love and Whole Foods Market NYC participants will be everywhere in between, encouraging the crowd and proudly marching.

God's Love is the New York metropolitan area's leading not-for-profit provider of life-sustaining meals and nutritional counseling for people living with life-threatening illnesses. God's Love We Deliver is dedicated to cooking - and delivering - the specific, nutritious meals a client's severe illness and treatment so urgently require.

God's Love supports families by providing meals for the children and senior caregivers of its clients. All of the agency's services are provided free of charge, and in its history of more than 25 years, God's Love We Deliver has never had a waiting list.
