Two men have died under mysterious circumstances at a bathhouse in South London, the British newspaper the Guardian reports.

London's Metropolitan Police Service is currently investigating the incident, which occurred at London's Pleasuredome, a 24-hour bathhouse that caters to gay and bisexual men.

According to authorities, a 39-year-old man died at the facility on Saturday. A 46-year-old man was brought to a hospital after he collapsed but died on Monday evening. Police were sent to Pleasuredome around 8:15 a.m. on Saturday after they received reports that three men had collapsed.

The Met said they are treating both deaths as unexplained but are waiting to see if toxicology reports can shed any light on the situation. A third man, 34, was also brought to the hospital but was released Monday evening.

A postmortem conducted on the 39-year-old man failed to find a cause of death. A postmortem on the other man is scheduled to be carried out on Thursday.

Police are looking to contact another man who was seen entering the bathhouse with the 39-year-old man and want him to come forward as soon as possible.

"Police are appealing for a man seen entering the venue with Victim 1 to come forward as soon as possible," the Met said. "He is described as a white man, aged 25-35, with brown hair and a goatee beard, approximately 6-feet tall with a slim build." The authorities added that they are concerned for the man's welfare and "any information in connection with this investigation will be treated with the strictest confidence."

Pleasuredome calls itself "London's world famous gay spa and bathhouse," according to its website. It also touts that it is "open continuously 24 hours a day 7 days a week every day of the year: WE NEVER CLOSE." According to the establishment's website, the bathhouse has been open for more than 15 years and has two steam rooms, two saunas and "lots of private room, encounter areas and dark areas."

This isn't the first time a gay bathhouse has been linked to a patron's death. A recent documentary film investigates the mysterious death of an American living in Vienna, Aeryn Gillern, who was last seen fleeing a bathhouse naked. In that case, the mother of the victim describes her frustration at the hands of Austrian police, whom she accuses of being uncooperative at best, and homophobic and involved in a possible cover-up at worst.
