Who's That Pretty Lady? It Ain't Daisy Buchanan

Vintage photos of a Victorian woman have been making their way around the blogosphere. Except it isn't a Victorian woman - it's author F. Scott Fitzgerald giving us couture 1900s realness.
According to BuzzFeed the photos of the "Great Gatsby" author were taken in 1916 when Fitzgerald was a junior at Princeton University. The images were used to help promote a play in which he was performing called "The Evil Eye" with the musical-comedy troupe called the Princeton Triangle Club. The Lost Generation author was not only in the play but also wrote some of its lyrics.
When the New York Times reviewed the musical, they wrote that Fitzgerald was "the most beautiful" girl in the entire show. If he lived today, he would probably he crowned winner of the upcoming season "RuPaul's Drag Race."
Fitzgerald wasn't the only Lost Generation writer who cross-dressed. Well, sort of. For the first two years of his life, Ernest Hemingway's mother, Grace Hall Hemingway, dressed him as a girl.
Fitzgerald's beloved 1925 classic novel the "Great Gatsby" will be adapted to the silver screen and stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby, Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway and Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan. The film is scheduled for a May 10 release.
