"Applause" for Lady Gaga :: New Single Coming Soon(er)!

So it looks like fans just can't wait any longer, and they're showing some relentless love for "Mother Monster." So much so that Lady Gaga has decidedly felt the pressure to release the first single from her upcoming fourth full-length album "ARTPOP" earlier than an anticipated. "Applause" will be heard around the world on Aug. 19th, marking the enthusiastic return of Lady Gaga to the pop-culture center of the universe.

The album pre-order has also been moved up to Aug. 19th (it was originally scheduled for early September) and "ARTPOP" will be available worldwide on Nov. 11th. Relegated to some onstage snubbing during Madonna's "MDNA" World Tour, nary a blond lock has been seen nor a 9-story high heel walked on a red carpet since Lady Gaga was forced to cancel the North American leg of her "Born This Way Ball" World Tour. The artist had sustained an injury just as she entered into the new year, and was rushed into surgery to replace her hip.

Now the world and "little monsters" everywhere can rejoice as they brace themselves for the latest evolution of the artful dodger that Lady Gaga has become -�stealing our hearts with her outlandish outfits and ruling the roost of the dance charts, much to the chagrin of her contemporaries (and some of her elders) in music. With her much anticipated performance at this year's MTV VMAs marking her return to the stage post-hip surgery, all eyes will be on Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Aug. 25th when Gaga reveals her latest music and fashion evolution.

"ARTPOP" is also promising to chart a new frontier for Lady Gaga and her fans. In a recent press release about the new project Gaga ventured to "bring ARTculture into POP in a reverse Warholian expedition. Altering the human experience with social media." Along with the new music Lady Gaga's Haus of Gaga is also daring fans to connect in a new technological and interactive community through the soon to be marketed app that will elevate the Gaga experience and will "share in the adrenaline of fame." So says Gaga.

Brace yourself. "Applause" will be available on Aug. 19th and will be the prelude to Lady Gaga's forthcoming studio album and app "ARTPOP." Lady Gaga will be performing at the upcoming 2013 MTV VMAs on Aug. 25th.
