Bye Bye Bieber!: White House Petition to Deport Justin

EDGE READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Justin Bieber may want to spend his time leading up to his next court date soaking up some Miami sun. A move is underway to have the troubled pop bad boy deported to his native Canada. As of this writing, it is a balmy 9 degrees in his hometown of Stratford, Ontario.

Not long after Bieber was arrested and promptly released on bail for DUI while drag racing through a residential neighborhood in a rented Lambourghini, a petition was created on WhiteHouse.gov asking the Obama administration to deport him.

The strongly worded petition reads:

We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation's youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.

100,000 signatures are required by February 22nd in order to get an official response. As of this writing, in less than one day, over 7,700 registered users have signed to have the Biebs shipped up north. If this rate persists, the goal of 100,000 signatures will be reached in less than two weeks.

Results from an informal poll taken on PerezHilton.com showed that 88% of readers feel that it's time for him to go.

Bieber is living in the United States on an O-1 Visa for "individuals with extraordinary ability or achievement," which does not grant him the right to stay in America indefinitely or unconditionally. If convicted of a felony, he could face deportation. He was charged with first degree misdemeanors for yesterday's DUI and drag racing incident.

According to Business Insider, what could send him across the border is the alleged egging of his neighbor's home in California earlier this month. His neighbor claims Bieber caused thousands of dollars in damage, which would make the crime a felony.

A ranker.com list titled "The 23 Douchiest Things Justin Bieber Has Ever Done" lists over a score of the infant terrible's less than shining moments including numerous instances of public urination, a catalog of his questionable fashion choices, his request to be carried on the shoulders of bodyguards when visiting the Great Wall of China and his abandonment of his pet monkey in Germany.
