It looks like Azkaban will be getting another prisoner.

Kentucky police arrested a Sunday school teacher and self-proclaimed warlock Monday, who confessed to sexually abusing one of his 16-year-old male students, the website Raw Story reports.

Rex Allen Murphy, 30, was a teacher at Polly Ann Church of God in Eubank, Ky., was charged with first-degree sexual assault, third-degree sodomy and the use of a minor in a sexual performance, according to Police Chief Colin Hatfield.

The teen reportedly told authorities that Murphy sexually assaulted him and that the abuse happened at the church and at Murphy's home over a period of at least six months.

"The victim stated that the suspect told him on numerous occasions that by brushing his skin or shaking his hand... he could tell his sins by the power he has. He comes from family of warlocks," Hatfield told Lexington, Ky., CBS-affiliate station WKYT.

He added that Murphy threatened the teen with witchcraft if he told his parents about the abuse.

"He was very scared, because the suspect, in the victim's eyes, had been threatening his life in the form of Wicca, witchcraft, black magic," Hatfield told Lexington's NBC-affiliate WLEX.

Murphy said that in an interview with police, Murphy "thought he would be able to help the victim with his battle with homosexuality because he, too, had experimented with homosexuality." Murphy allegedly told the teen that he could see his sins by touching him.

The pastor at Polly Ann Church of God told WKYT that the church officials were dealing with the claims internally. A spokesperson for the church also said there is no reason to believe the alleged abuse occurred at the church.

Hatfield pointed out that Murphy "did in fact confess to the allegations" but denied that the witchcraft comments were meant as a threat.

Authorities say there could be other victims.
