NSFW: Players Get Detailed with 'Sims 4' Nudity Mods

It's bound to happen.

After crafty "The Sims 4" players figured out how to get sims naked on the popular computer game, they were disappointed: the characters were just like Barbie dolls - smooth and genital-less. So, it didn't take long before devoted "Sims" players created nudity mods so users can create the perfect naked sim, Gawker's video game website Kotau reports.

The new mods let sims have penises, vaginas, nipples and pubic hair of all kinds of shape, sizes and textures!

Those who are interested in checking out some naked sims, or maybe want to download the mods so their own sim can have a giant wang, can check them out here. But beware - the site is obviously extremely NSFW.

Kotau's Patricia Hernandez makes a good point about the mods and writes:

What's curious to me about these mods is that they reflect some of the userbase's desire to eroticize the game beyond what the developers include. The "Sims" isn't sexy enough! Woohooing feels so conservative. I mean, it's not even called sex, even though we all know that's what it is. Beyond that, there's something particularly fascinating about how the modders choose to depict genitals and breasts.

She goes on to say that the modders' depiction of breasts and penis sizes reflect society's expectations of body images for women and men, albeit penis mods are rarer to find than breast mods.

"Still, I can't help but wonder: why do the dicks look like this specifically? Is it preference? Beauty standards? Neither? Is it bad that my reaction was 'why are these so small?' (Yes, probably," she writes. "I'm just being honest with my initial reaction, and if nothing else, it would be cool if there was a wider variety of dicks for people to download). Never mind the size, though. The dicks look weird because they're so flat, right? Vaginas have the same problem, too-at least they do on this website."

But there are some mods that reflect more natural-looking / realistic genitalia, which Hernandez points out in her piece.
