FASCINATION is a monthly gear/ fetish/ kink night downstairs in the basement of Jacques Cabaret from 9-12 every second Monday of the month. Sponsored by Street Corner Society, the monthly event is inspired by the work of cult, gay writer John Rechy ("City of Night").
Resident DJ Colby Drasher is on hand to spin Dark Electronic, Rock, Techno, Ambient, and Deep House. Monday's event also features a rope demo by Matthew Venus and performances by Kurt Fowl and Con$ent.
The night also features visual projections by Michael Flowers highlighting both original footage as well as scenes from vintage kink cinema. We often host guest demos led by local members of the Boston leather, rubber, and BDSM community for folks looking to learn from each other about kink they are curious about. Although the event is leather inspired, we are looking to bring together a diverse and gender inclusive cross section of Boston fetish culture (rubber, sports gear, bondage, S&M, pup play) by creating a space for folks in the community to meet up.
No Dress Code but fetish gear and creativity are both strongly encouraged. (Leather, Rubber, Sports Gear, Pup Play, Military, BDSM Gear, Levis, Boots, Masks) Feel free to change at the club.
