Fashion model, actress and current "It Girl" Cara Delevingne revealed in an interview with Vogue that she's currently dating indie rocker St. Vincent, aka Annie Clark.
Delevingne, 22, who will be on the fashion magazine's July cover, opened up for her fans and talked about her personal life and painful teen years. She also discussed her dating life, revealing that she's been in a serious relationship with the "Digital Witness" singer.
According to the Daily Mail, the two women have been inseparable for the past few months. But in the interview the British model explains it wasn't easy for her family to accept her sexuality.
"I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I'm feeling so happy with who I am these days. And for those words to come out of my mouth is actually a miracle,' admits the model, adding that past heartbreak finally forced her to confront her feelings," Delevingne, who previously dated actress Michelle Rodriguez, told Vogue. "It took me a long time to accept the idea, until I first fell in love with a girl at 20 and recognized that I had to accept it."
She added: "Women are what completely inspire me, and they have also been my downfall. I have only been hurt by women, my mother first of all."
Before the interview, both Delevingne and St. Vincent, 32, refused to talk about their relationship, but the model has been spotted supporting the musician on recent gigs. St. Vincent, who has been linked to "Portlandia" star Carrie Brownstein, has also been Delevingne's plus one for her fashion events, the Daily Mail writes.
Delevingne has become an "It Girl," over the last year, palling around with her famous BFFs like Taylor Swift (she appeared in the singer's epic "Bad Blood" music video), Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, model Gig Hadid and Dakota Johnson. Just take a look at her Instagram.
The model is set to make her motion picture debut in the upcoming film "Paper Towns," a coming of age story based on the book of the same name. Delevingne will be a leading lady, playing the elusive Margo Roth Spiegelman.
