Watch: 'Pop-Up Porno': Grindr Horror Story Told in Pop-Up Book
READ TIME: 1 MIN.
Grindr, water sports, dick pics, and and a near case of accidental incest are all part of "m4m," an hilarious short film that is part of "Pop-Up Porno," an interactive video triptych about real life online-dating horror stories.
Shown through a series of pages in a pop-up book, "m4m" tells the all too familiar tale of Grindr altercations from "what are you into" to the requisite series of dick pics. The video's final twist is jaw-dropping, to say the least.
Directed by Stephen Dunn, "Pop-Up Porno" features three short films about meaningful and humiliating human experiences derived through true online-dating horror stories that are visually interpreted through original and hand-made erotic pop-up books.
All three films premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. "m4m," screened last night - Sunday, 9/13 - prior to the world premiere of Dunn's first feature film, "Closet Monster," at the Toronto International Film Festival. The full series has been subsequently released for free online at www.POPUPPORNO.org
