PopUps: Disney Actor to Play Gay Porn Star in New James Franco Film

Surprise! James Franco is involved in another gay-themed film. Just kidding; that's no surprise. The real surprise is that a Disney actor, known for his role in "Teen Beach Movie," will star as gay porn star in the upcoming biopic.

Franco is producing a biopic about the murder of gay porn director Bryan Kocis. "King Cobra" will follow the story of Kocis' death, where he was stabbed 28 times before being set on fire by male escorts Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes in 2007, Perez Hilton reports.

Though there's no word yet as to who will play Cuadra and Kerekes, Disney star hunk Garrett Clayton, 24, will portray gay porn star Brent Corrigan, who worked with Kocis while he was underage.

Clayton, who was featured in the recent Todrick Hall "Hocus Pocus" parody, took to Instagram last week and mentioned his upcoming role.

Franco has also enlisted Brat Pack 80s icon Molly Ringwald as well as "Mr. Robot" star Christian Slater in unspecified roles. Perez Hilton reports "King Cobra" will premiere in 2016.
