It was bound to happen sooner or later.

A group of designers and entrepreneurs in Montreal have joined forces to mass produce the "Scrote 'n Tote" the next wave in small portable luggage that resembles a giant scrotum. They are currently seeking investors via crowdfunding to help set up mass production of the item.

"Mainstream economic theory teaches us that capitalism is an economic system which incentivizes people to use their energies, resources and talents in the most efficient and socially beneficial ways possible. World Wide Scrotes, and the Scrote'n'Tote are perfect examples of this theory in action, " writes Daniel Bitton on the Indiegogo page set up to fund the venture.

Bitton's ballsack backpack first came to attention in 2015 when a photo of him wearing the item went viral, sparking notice from Buzzfeed.

"Since then, thousands of requests to acquire this life-changing product have poured in," Bitton says." As a result, out of a sense of profound humanitarianism, I and several friends have had to interrupt our lives in order to fully dedicate our lives to the production of lifelike, hideous, giant scrotum backpacks."

The Indiegogo campaign seeks to raise $33,000 to cover the cost of producing the mold for the skin textured part of the bag, which is the biggest pre-production expense. The money also covers various smaller research costs, producing various prototypes, quality tests and trying out different production facilities.

The projected retail price of the Scrote'n'Tote is $120. An insider price of $69 plus shipping will be offered to all who donate $10 to the campaign.
