The Scout's Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse
JC Alvarez READ TIME: 2 MIN.
They've been the in vogue monsters of the last decade -- the undead walk among us and everyone is trying to get in on the action. The latest big screen turn is the comedy horror "Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse". A group of teenagers find themselves perilously earning their badges to defend their town against a horde of zombies and win the affections of a pretty girl who can also hold her own with a shot gun.
With only their wits about them and the handy skills they've acquired in the pursuit to become the ultimate scouts, it'll take everything they've got to survive and save mankind from the insatiable hunger of the living dead. Running for your life has never been funnier -- and scary all at the same time. It also helps that our heroes may have a comedy veteran, Cloris Leachman in their midst that only heightens the hilarity.
Who knew that the zombie apocalypse could be this much fun, but when you take all the gloom and doom out of "The Walking Dead" what you are left with is "Scouts Guide" -- only the most prepared individuals will be able to outlast the rampaging hordes and now you don't have to worry. This is a practical and easy to follow guide. Worthy of an afternoon of gory fun "Scouts Guide" is worth sitting in and taking notes. You'll never be more prepared.
The Blu-ray takes the audience behind-the-scenes and is loaded with "making of" features that detail the creation of the zombie make-up FX as well as "movement" class for these creatures of the night. Hilarious deleted scenes also expand on the action and give you more reason to love our heroic scouts and cheer them on!
