EDGE READ TIME: 3 MIN.

Starting today, January 11, Margaret Cho joins "Fashion Police" as a special co-host for 2016. Cho steps into the role after the departure of host Kathy Griffin and co-host Kelly Osbourne, and the death of Joan Rivers in September 2014. Cho had previously appeared as a celebrity guest on the show.

"I love joining the crew of 'Fashion Police,'" said Cho. "To me it feels like family. Although I am not quite a fashionista, I would love to look at it like I am changing it up, like it's 'Fashion Police: Special Victims Unit.' It makes me happiest to spend time with Melissa, and when I see her laugh at my joke,I feel like Joan is smiling, somewhere."

The crew of "Fashion Police" -- Melissa Rivers, Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski-had their debut at the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards, and will keep the festivities going throughout the entire award season.
