Watch: Video of Cops Mistaking Man's Penis for Weapon Goes Viral

A video of police mistaking a man's penis for a weapon during a body search is going viral this week, the Daily Mail reports.

The awkward clip, which was posted to the popular image site imgur.com, shows a cop restraining a man for a body search. The man, who is shirtless, stands still in what appears to be a lobby, as police pat him down and check for weapons.

One officer moves his gloved hand around the man's left pocket and grabs hold of his penis, but believes it's something more dangerous.

The cop grab's the man's apparently erect penis several times to make sure it's connected to the man's body and not a gun.

While this is happening, the man remains silent but looks at the officer's hand. After a few cringing seconds, the cop pulls his hand away, most likely realizing what he's tugging on.

It's currently unknown where the incident took place, though the Daily Mail claims it occurred in North America. Also unknown is the man's identification or why he is being booked.
