Frank Ocean Reportedly Played New Music in NYC

It's been a long while since we heard new Frank Ocean material - the R&B singer's debut album "Channel Orange" was released in July 2012. Last year, he sort of announced his new album, apparently titled "Boys Don Cry," would be that summer. Nothing happened.

But reports are surfacing this week that Ocean played new music at a listening party in New York this week. As Vulture points out, the singer held the secret session Sunday night and poor audio quality of the records have surfaced on Instagram and Soundcloud. That's how thirsty fans are for new Frank Ocean music.

While most of the clips have been scrubbed from the Internet, MTV suggests that may be a very good thing: It may prove that the clips are in fact new music that could end up on an official Ocean album.

Adele should be very happy.
