'Hot Felon' is Released, Readies Modeling Career

Remember Jeremy Meeks? Back in 2014, the North California man's mug shot went viral after he was arrested on felony weapons charges. His pic was posted on the Stockton Police Department's Facebook page and earned thousands of likes over Meek's model-like features, like his high cheekbones, chiseled face and piercing blue eyes. It wasn't long before he was dubbed the "hot felon."

Now, Meeks, who was arrested in June 2014 on five weapons charges and one gang charge, is jumping out of his orange jumpsuit and into some fresh threads.

As The Wrap reports Meek's manager, Jim Jordan, said he was released from Mendota Federal Correctional Institution in Northern California Tuesday and was greeted by his wife Melissa and their three children. Jordan, a modeling agent at White Cross Management in Los Angeles, also told the website Meek has been slammed with modeling offers from the world's "top five designers," as well as TV producers.

"We were bombarded by every news media outlet and production company out there," Jordan said. He added that Meek has been working on his physique, doing 500 sit-ups and 500 push-ups every day while in prison.

"We have a huge plans for him," Jordan told The Wrap. "A lot is about to happen. We don't want to announce it at the moment, but we have some incredible stuff coming that will blow everyone away."

Meeks, however, isn't allowed to talk to the press just yet, Jordan said. He will be in a transition house for the next month but Jordan expects him to have an impressive modeling career.

"The world responds to beautiful things. Jeremy is a beautiful thing. His striking looks [are] the first thing we noticed. His appeal got the attention of the world," Jordan said.

Jordan, who manages supermodels Taylor Hill and Nikki Taylor, said Meeks has what it takes to be one of the biggest male models in the world.

"Jeremy has piercing gray-blue eyes, they're shaped like almonds and he has a beautiful bone structure. He's 6-feet-1-inches tall, which is the perfect height for a male model, and he has an incredible body," Jordan told the website. "I think Jeremy Meeks is already a supermodel without ever appearing in any magazines."

He added: "I believe in giving people second chances, which is why I wanted to help this kid. Jeremy is the nicest, gentlest, sweetest, nicest and most humble guy."
