GOP Implosion: Texas Pol Threatens to Out Fellow Republicans

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

The controversial newly-elected homophobic Texas county GOP chairman, who made headlines last week over a series of pornographic tweets that included one with a gag-inducing scenario involving octogenarian former first lady Barbara Bush, has promised out Republican politicians who he thinks are closeted if they claim to be Christian.

Robert Morrow, the chairman-elect for the GOP of Texas' fifth largest county who won last Tuesday's primary with 55 percent of the vote, is putting members of his party on notice -- If you're Christian and he thinks you're gay, lesbian or bisexual, he will out you publicly.

Morrow, whose Twitter account is littered with inflammatory tweets that regularly include profanity and anti-gay slurs, drew national attention after his election last week has been roundly denounced by his fellow party members.

"If they're doing things wrong politically, they'll hear about it from me, and if they have a wildly hypocritical sexual life, especially if they're a married man and if it involves adultery with strippers, hookers and gay prostitutes," Morrow said in an interview with Time Warner Cable News. "I just love exposing these sexual hypocrites in the Republican Party, especially these closeted homosexuals. ... If you find out a politician is secretly a gay guy, and he's religious right on the outside, we have a problem there. The lying and the hypocrisy are the biggest ones."

Morrow's purported Republican "pink list" include former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, GOP strategist Karl Rove, President George W. Bush and Florida Senator Marco Rubio, all of whom he claims are gay or bisexual.

Not surprisingly, Morrow, who is the author of outrageous conspiracy books about the Clintons and the JFK assassination, is an avid Trump supporter.

"I just hope to promote flushing the commode on the corroded rectum of American politics," he told Time Warner. "I'm like Donald Trump on steroids, sweetheart, so get ready to have some fun reading my Twitter feed."
