Fast food giant Kentucky Fried Chicken has gone into the cosmetics business with a new line of edible nail polishes that are literally "finger lickin' good," Fortune reports.

To use, consumers simply apply and dry like regular nail polish, and then lick-again and again and again," according to KFC in a statement to Adweek.

The nail polish is the work of advertising agency Ogilvy and Mather in conjunction with McCormick spices.

"The recipe for our edible nail polish is unique and was specifically designed to hold the flavor, but to also dry with a glossy coat similar to normal nail polish," Ogilvy creative director John Koay said to Adweek. "This campaign is designed to be intriguing and fun to increase excitement around the KFC brand in Hong Kong."

The KFC nail polish line, which is hitting the market in Hong Kong, comes in two flavors : Original and Hot & Spicy. As of this writing no plans are being made for an extra crispy variety for nail-biters.
