Days after she made headlines for lashing out against pop star Zayn Malik in a series of racist and homophobic tweets, Twitter suspended Azealia Banks' account.

Banks, a Donald Trump supporter, has a long history of using the social media platform to attack various public figures, ranging from former Alaska governor Sarah Palin to rapper Iggy Azalea and house duo Disclosure.

In her latest tirade, Banks took at aim at Malik and accused the former One Direction member of copying her. When he tweeted back to her, it sparked the rapper to spew racist and homophobic language towards him. Read more about that here.

After the incident made headlines, a London music festival announced it dropped Banks from its lineup.

Back in March, the "212" singer said she was quitting Twitter, but it wasn't long before she returned in April and caused a stir when she made violent tweets against Palin, who threatened to sue her.

She's also made violent remarks about gay men on social media and has tweeted that she thinks the LGBT community is "weak."

As Pitchfork notes, Twitter accounts may be suspended for "abusive tweets or behavior."

"We may suspend an account if it has been reported to us as violating our Rules surrounding abuse. When an account engages in abusive behavior, like sending threats to others or impersonating other accounts, we may suspend it temporarily or, in some cases, permanently," Twitter's website reads.

Banks' Instagram and Facebook accounts remain active.
