Watch: Nick Jonas Drugged in Bi 3-Way Scene From 'Kingdom' Disappoints Fans

Fans who were looking forward to Nick Jonas' character Nate, the closeted MMA fighter in the series "Kingdom," finally get it on with a guy, may be disappointed -- unless they find roofies erotic.

In an episode of "Kingdom" that aired Wednesday, Jonas' Nate, who has been struggling to come to terms with his sexuality, finally ends up in bed with a man. Normally, this would be good news to fans of the "Jealous" singer, who has long been accused of gay-baiting his fans. However, in the episode titled "No Fault," Jonas' tryst is a bisexual three-way that happened as a result of him being drugged at a party.

Twitter was less than thrilled with the episode.

"Nick's character has been known to the audience to be gay for three years now, and this is what they're doing to his character?"

"His first on-screen action with a guy was an assault and it still involved him mostly [with] the girl?"

Andy Towle of gay blogging site Towleroad weighed in with "@NickJonas Had a 'Gay' Scene in '#Kingdom' if Being Drugged and Violated Counts."

"Kingdom," which airs on DirectTV, revolves around Alvey Kulina (Frank Grillo) owning and running a mixed martial arts gym called Navy St. Gym in Venice, California, with his girlfriend, Lisa (Kiele Sanchez). He helps people workout and trains fighters along with his sons, Nate (Nick Jonas) and Jay (Jonathan Tucker).
