Man Arrested for Masturbating on NYC Subway: 'Everyone Does It'

A man was arrested and charged with public lewdness and exposure for masturbating on the New York City subway. When spotted by a fellow passenger, the self-gratifying straphanger said "everyone does it," DNA Info reports.
According to a complaint filed with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, Peter Savarino, 27, was spotted exposing himself and masturbating on a downtown Q train from Columbus Circle to West 49th Street near Times Square.
According to a passenger who witnessed the incident, when Savarino noticed that he had been spotted in the act, he remarked "everyone does it."
Savarino was charged with public lewdness and exposure, the DA's office said.
He was released on $1500 bail and will appear in court on August 9.
