X-Rated Site Offers Gay Gawker Founder $35K for Hulk Hogan-Theme Flick
READ TIME: 2 MIN.
A popular porn website offered the founder of embattled media site Gawker $35,000 to star in an X-rated flick that would feature him having sex with his husband dressed as Hulk Hogan, according to Breitbart.
The offer comes after Nick Denton's Gawker filed for bankruptcy as a direct result of the monetary judgement against the media company in the Hogan sex tape lawsuit. In March, a jury awarded Hogan, who sued Gawker after a writer posted parts of a sex tape of him, $115 million in compensatory damages and $25 million in punitive damages.
Though XHamster.com's $35,000 offer won't solve Gawker's financial woes, the site's officials say "XHamster.com wants closure."
"The popular porn-sharing destination announced today that it is offering Gawker CEO Nick Denton payment of $25,000 to film a sex tape between him and his husband Derrence Washington, or any other man or woman of Denton's choosing," a press release reads.
In order to get an extra $10,000, XHamster.com asks that "Washington wears a Hulkamania shirt and shouts Hulk Hogan's trademark line, 'Whatcha gonna do when Hulkmania runs wild on you?' while penetrating his husband."
"The Gawker-Hulk Hogan saga began with porn and should end with porn" XHamster spokesperson Mike Kulich told Breitbart. "XHamster.com has taken a strong position on responsible porn. It troubles us that sex tapes have gotten a bad name from Gawker's actions... The First Amendment doesn't give Gawker, XHamster, or anyone else permission to illegal film people in the privacy of their homes... It's just wrong to take videos of people having sex and put them online without their consent. How dumb do you have to be to think otherwise?"
Denton nor Gawker has responded to the offer. XHamster made similar offers to the Chewbacca Lady and the woman who became a meme for looking like Ted Cruz in drag after her appearance on the "Maury" daytime talkshow.
