Prepare for One Million Moms boycott in 5..4..3..2..

A same-sex couple will be featured on Nickelodeon's animated series "Loud House." According to Entertainment Weekly, the inclusive move will be a first for the kids-focused network.

EW notes that characters Harold and Howard, parents to "Loud House" character Clyde McBride will not only be a same-sex couple, but are interracial to boot. The characters are voiced by Wayne Brady and Michael McDonald.

"Loud House," which is in its debut season, follows Lincoln Loud, the only boy in a family with 10 sisters.

Although there has been no official One Million Moms boycott (yet), and EW notes that so far, the reception has been positive, Christian news source Life Site News, points to Jeff Johnston an "ex-gay" who works as an issue analyst with the anti-LGBT Focus on the Family. Johnston had predicted that LGBTQ narratives and depictions of families with same-sex parents on children's TV shows would increase after the United States Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage in 2015.

Johnston urged parents to be vigilant in monitoring their children's viewing.
"[T]elevision shows, books, and movies with sexually-confusing messages ... introduce children to falsehoods and immorality, and they create confusion and insecurity," Johnston said. "Children are not equipped to handle these adult themes."
