A photo showing Vice President-Elect Mike Pence next to retired gay porn star Brad Patton, suggesting Pence is indeed Patton, is going viral this week.
BuzzFeed News reports the photo was posted to Facebook on Sunday by users Luis Macias, who shared the image on his personal account, writing "Mike Pence - blast from the gay past."
"I didn't know if it was real," Marcias told BuzzFeed News. "I knew it would blow up because of all the controversy around him and his homophobic stances."
The photo has been shared over 12,000 times. It also made its way on Twitter, which earned over 1,600 retweets.
While many social media users found the photo hilarious, it's likely Pence isn't laughing. The future vice president has a terrible voting record when it comes to LGBT issues and has been outspoken about LGBT rights.
