Gay Porn Actor Arrested for Assaulting Porn-Watching Boyfriend

A gay porn actor on probation for beating and choking his boyfriend in 2015 was arrested in Atlanta in November for assaulting him again -- just a year after the first attack occurred, LGBT newspaper Project Q Atlanta reports.
Jared Louis Velazquez, 31, who performs under the name Tyce Jax, was arrested on Nov. 25 for allegedly attacking his boyfriend Bobby Hamill in their Atlanta home, according to court documents obtained by Project Q. The newspaper reports Velazquez hit Hamill several times, threw him to the ground, and threatened him with a knife during the incident.
The alleged attack was apparently sparked after Velazquez caught Hamill, who co-owns a popular gay bar called BJ Roosters, watching porn on an iPad.
"[Hamill] stated he was watching porn on his iPad Pro when Mr. Velazquez asked him, 'Do you really need to do that?' Mr. Hamill added he then went to the restroom and heard a loud noise. He came out of the restroom and asked Mr. Velazquez what was the noise and they began arguing," an Atalanta police arrest affidavit reads.
Hamill tried to leave their home but Velazquez allegedly grabbed his keys and prevented him from walking out, causing their fight to escalate, according to the court documents cited by Project Q.
"Mr. Hamill advised while trying to leave his boyfriend snatched the keys from him and began pushing and choking him against the wall. He stated he was then slammed on the ground and was hit numerous times," the arrest affidavit reads.
When the porn actor allegedly went for his knife, Hamill threw a glass bowl at him, the documents say. Police took photos of the visible injures and bruising on Hamill's neck and arm. He refused to be treated by paramedics at the scene, Project Q reports.
"Mr. Velazquez stated all of this happened because of Mr. Hamill's drugs. He didn't elaborate on the incident and only stated the injuries were self inflicted," court documents say.
After spending tow days in Fulton County Jail, Velazquez was released on a $5,000 bond.
Velazquez faces a charge of family violence and was ordered to have no contact with Hamill or his family, according to Project Q.
When he was arrested, Velazquez was serving a three-year probation sentence for assaulting Hamill in November 2015 and attacking a former boyfriend in Atlanta in June 2014.
