UK Tabloid: George Michael's Mansion Allegedly Used to Film Gay Porn

READ TIME: 2 MIN.

A new report from the U.K. tabloid The Daily Star claims George Michael's mansion in a suburb of London was secretly used to film at least two gay porn films.

A source told the newspaper the filming went down while the late pop star and his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz were away not home and that Michael was unaware of the filming. The source added the first time the XXX filming occurred was in August 2011, when Michael performed in Prague, and in 2012 when the singer and his boyfriend were on vacation.

The source, who wished to remain anonymous, told The Daily Star the movies are a "desecration" to Michael's memory.

"At least two gay porn films were shot at George's house in Highgate, north London, without his knowledge,"the insider to the tabloid. "He had so many hangers-on looking after his homes that somehow word got out they were empty. Unbelievably, a well-known gay porn company got hold of the keys twice and went in with a full crew - actors flown from America, lighting, sound engineers - the lot."

The source went on to say that the company that got access to the Wham! singer's home makes "hardcore, 'bareback' gay sex in which the actors don't wear protection."

"George would have been furious if he'd known what his house was being used for while he was away," they added to The Daily Star.

The insider went on to say the porn actors, who were from America, "were told last minute they were filming in George's house. I know his bed was used for one scene."

"The films were released for download and not on disc," they said. "They were a cult favorite among the gay community because a lot of people knew they had been secretly shot at George's house, and it gave buyers an extra kick."

The Daily Star reports the source claims the porn producers stop selling the X-rated films after Michael's death because they're worried about a backlash.

Michael died of heart failure last Christmas. He was 53.
