Watch: Netflix Releases 1st Trailer for 'Mindhunter' Starring Jonathan Groff

Netflix released the first look of its highly-anticipated new series "Mindhunter" Wednesday, which stars Jonathan Groff in his first TV role since HBO's gay drama "Looking" ended in 2015.
The series, which will debut in October, is based on the book "Mind Hunter: Inside FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit" by Mark Olshaker and John E. Douglas. Filmmaker David Fincher ("The Social Network," "Gone Girl"), serves as an executive producer and will helm episodes of "Mindhunter" *(he's also an EP on "House of Cards" and directed that show's pilot).
Per Wikipedia, "Mindhunter" is "set in 1979 and will revolve around two FBI agents, played by Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany, who interview imprisoned serial killers to try to solve ongoing cases."
Also starring is Anna Trov and Cotter Smith.
