McDonald's Rainbow Fries Box has Anti-Gay 'Rantaholic' Seeing Red
READ TIME: 2 MIN.
Josh Feuerstein, the self-described "disciple of Jesus" who periodically thrusts himself into the spotlight to rant over everything from boys playing with Barbies to Starbuck's red holiday coffee cup, is back again. This time, the "rantaholic" is fuming over the McDonald's decision to package their fries in rainbow boxes at select Washington, D.C. restaurants during the city's Capital Pride Weekend.
Taking to his Facebook Friday, Feuerstein wrote:
"DISGUSTING! McDonald's released their RAINBOW FRIES today in honor of GAY PRIDE! Im tired of corporations trying to influence our families like this. SHARE THIS and let people know to STOP EATING at McDonalds! Plus, their food is crap. Really."
Although Feuerstein managed to get over 29,000 followers to share his post, it bears noting that most of the comments were not in support of his bigoted message.
Some of those comments:
"McDonalds is going out of its way to support Gay Pride? Cool. I'll get a Big Mac tomorrow. I'm impressed. Thanks for letting me know!"
"it's not being pushed on you, it's a rainbow flag, not a guy sucking another guy off, a show of support that says all humans should be treated equally and that love is love no matter the gender is not 'forcing it down your throat'"
One user commented on Feuerstein's generous physical proportions.
"Dude, you need to stop eating there. You look quite hefty. Maybe have a smoothie but not from Planet Smoothie since it has planet in it and it may remind you that you crazy conservatives don't believe in scientific research that global warming is real but believe a guy grabbed two of every animal for a global flood. I digress, maybe try Smoothie King since king would remind you of your Almighty. You're welcome."
The McDonald's Family Restaurants of Greater Washington, D.C., is also a sponsor of the Capital Pride Alliance.
Since launching his ersatz boycott against McDonald's fries, Feuerstein launched a similar boycott on Macy's over a tweet the retailer sent out for LGBT Pride Month.
